Driver Qualifications & Minimum Standards

1.       Minimum age 25 years

2.       Three years local or 2 years over the road tractor trailer driving, previous tank experience preferred.

3.       Must be medically examined & certified by a Dana Transport recognized physician as physically qualified to
          drive a commercial motor vehicle.

4.       Must have CDL with Haz Mat and tank endorsements (CDL-A-End-X).

5.       Moving violations –

          a.       No more than 2 in past 36 month

          b.      No conviction within past 36 months for any serious traffic violation

6.       Accidents – No more than one minor preventable accident during prior 36 months in a commercial motor vehicle.

7.       Drug or Alcohol Convictions – None

8.       Criminal Record – Felony – No violent or drug/drug related felonies allowed. 

9.       Background – No driving or work record indicating a disregard for public safety.

10.   Character – Must have an acceptable safety and conduct record.

11.   Prior Employment – No more than 3 in 36 months is preferred.
