Basic Requirements

As one of the largest cargo tank companies in the United States. We specialize in the hauling of bulk liquid chemicals and are recognized as an industry leader in safety and service year after year. With headquarter located in Avenel NJ, Dana manages a fleet of over 1000 trucks and 7000 tank trailers, through our network of 60+ terminals, tank washes and maintenance facilities throughout the United States. This comprehensive network presents many excellent opportunities for professional drivers.

• Must have one year minimum recent liquid bulk chemical tank trailer handling and hauling experience.
• Minimum age - 25 years.
• Must be medically examined & certified by a Dana Transport recognized physician as physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must have CDL- A with HazMat & Tank endorsements and 2 years verifiable OTR.
• Must have or be able to install a pump and compressor on tractor within first 90 days of employment.
• Moving violations –
  • No more than 2 minor violations in the past 36 months
  • No conviction within past 36 months for any serious traffic violation
• Accidents – No more than one minor preventable commercial accident during prior 36 months.
• Drug or Alcohol Convictions – None
• Criminal Record – No felony convictions in last 10 years. No violent or drug/drug-related felonies allowed.
• Background – No driving or work record indicating a disregard for public safety.
• Character – Must have an acceptable safety and conduct record.
• Prior Employment – No more than 3 in 36 months is preferred.
• Must have TWIC.
• Over the road drivers must be able to exit/return to the US legally (example - US Passport)
